Web Hosting in the USA, Billed in US Dollars

  • Priced and invoiced in USD
  • .com and .us domains
  • cPanel, LiteSpeed, NVMe SSD

cPanel hosting for American small businesses and agencies, with the billing, support and compliance answers a US buyer actually asks for.

Most hosting companies sell one plan to the whole planet and leave you to work out the rest. This page does the opposite: it covers what genuinely changes when the buyer is in the United States. How the price reads in dollars, what your bookkeeper will want on the invoice, which domain extensions you can actually register, what CCPA and the state privacy laws expect from a site you operate, and how to check performance for an American audience before you hand over a card. If something here is not answered, we would rather settle it in a pre-sales ticket than after you have paid.

What Changes When the Buyer Is in the United States

The servers, the panel and the software are the same wherever you sit. What changes is the currency on the invoice, the paperwork your finance team files, the domain rules you have to satisfy, the hours you can reach a human, and the privacy law your forms have to respect. Those are the things this page is about.

US dollar billing

Priced and Paid in Dollars

US Dollar is one of the currencies ElySpace lists, so check that your account is set to it before you start comparing anything. Whatever the display currency, the figure that binds is the one printed on the order form itself, next to the billing cycle and the recurring amount. Read both before you confirm, because the renewal is the number you live with for years, not the first invoice. If the total is not in dollars when you reach the cart, ask billing to switch the account currency before you pay rather than after.

Invoicing and supplier paperwork

An Invoice Your Bookkeeper Can File

Invoices are issued by ElySpace IT Services LLP, a firm registered in India that has been selling hosting since 2016. Put your company name, billing address and any purchase order reference into your billing profile before checkout rather than asking for a reissue later. If your accounts payable process keeps supplier paperwork on file for vendors outside the United States, raise that with billing before you order, not in January.

Dot com and dot us domain names

.com First, .us If You Qualify

A .com is still the default an American customer types without thinking. The .us country code is available too, but it carries a nexus requirement: the registrant has to be a US citizen or resident, an entity organized in a US state, or a foreign organization with a genuine presence in the country, and registrant details are expected to be accurate rather than shielded. Check both from our domain search and TLD pricing page.

Support coverage across US time zones

Reachable Through the US Working Day

Live chat and tickets run around the clock, which is what covers Eastern through Pacific business hours. Our engineers work from India on IST, five and a half hours ahead of UTC, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a call center in Ohio. A US number, +1 (551) 344-0025, is published on our contact page. If you want a call inside your own working hours, ask for a time in the ticket and it can be arranged.

The hosting stack, named

The Stack, Named Rather Than Described

Nobody should buy hosting on the word fast. Shared accounts run LiteSpeed Enterprise as the web server, CloudLinux for per-account isolation so a noisy neighbour cannot eat your CPU, cPanel and WHM for management, EasyApache with ea-php83, Imunify360 for malware scanning and the firewall, JetBackup for restores, NVMe SSD storage, and Cloudflare in front. Those are checkable names, not marketing words.

Free migration scheduled to your time zone

Migration Scheduled to Your Time Zone

Moving an existing site costs nothing: files, databases and email accounts are copied across for you. The part that matters for an American business is when the switch happens. A cutover at three in the morning Eastern is late morning in India, which means the engineer doing the work is wide awake at exactly the hour your storefront is quietest. Pick the window, and nothing goes live until you have checked the copy.

Measure the Speed
Instead of Trusting It

Every host on earth claims to be fast, and a claim you cannot verify is worth nothing. The number that actually decides whether an American visitor stays is time to first byte from the cities your customers live in, and that is something you can measure yourself in an afternoon. Ask our pre-sales team which region your account will be provisioned in before you order, then go and test it properly.

Where the metal sits also matters less to search than most buyers assume. With a CDN in front of the site, the physical origin has little bearing on how a page ranks, while your domain, your content, your currency and the sites linking to you do the geographic work. Speed for the visitor is the reason to care about distance. Ranking is not.

  • Run traceroute and mtr from your own office network, not from a review site
  • Test from several US locations and compare the median run, never the best one
  • Watch field data from real visitors once traffic arrives, because lab scores flatter
  • Keep Cloudflare in front so static assets are served from an edge near the visitor

Compliance Questions
to Settle Before Launch

There is no single federal privacy law in the United States, so what lands on your website depends on where your customers live and what you collect from them. None of this is legal advice, and no hosting account makes anybody compliant on its own, but these are the six things American buyers most often discover late.

Our own data protection position, including how a subject access or deletion request is handled and what a signed agreement covers, is set out on the data protection and GDPR page. Read it before you sign, not after somebody files a request.

  • CCPA and CPRA: cross a threshold, such as the personal information of 100,000 or more California consumers or households, and you owe disclosure, deletion and opt-out rights, plus honoring the Global Privacy Control signal a browser sends
  • The state patchwork: Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah and others each set their own thresholds, so a form that is fine in one state can be a problem in the next
  • Health data: if your application touches protected health information, a shared account is the wrong shape and a business associate agreement has to exist first, so raise it before you buy
  • Card data: keep the checkout on a PCI compliant gateway rather than in your own database, which is what keeps your scope small and your audit short
  • Email: commercial mail sent from your account has to carry a real physical postal address and honor opt-outs, which is what the CAN-SPAM Act asks of an American sender
  • Accessibility: US businesses get sued over unusable websites, and WCAG 2.1 AA is the yardstick those claims are argued against, so build to it from the start

How an American Site
Moves Across

Four steps, in the order they actually happen. The only one with a deadline attached is the last, and you choose when that runs.

01

Ask Before You Buy

Open a pre-sales ticket with your current host, your traffic and where your visitors are. Cheaper to be told the wrong plan now than to discover it in month three.

02

Order in Dollars

Check that your account currency is US Dollar, read the recurring amount and the billing cycle on the order form, then pay by card or PayPal.

03

We Move It

Send your existing cPanel or FTP details and the migration team copies files, databases and mailboxes at no charge, so you can check the copy before anything points at it.

04

Cut Over Quietly

Lower your DNS TTL a day ahead, then switch at the quietest hour for your American traffic. Mail keeps flowing while the record propagates.

Built to Hold Up
in US Search Results

An agency handing a finished site to an American client usually cares about two questions after launch: will it rank, and will it stay quick once the client's marketing team bolts on a third tracking script. Hosting decides far more of the second than the first, but it touches both, and it helps to know which lever does what.

If you are building rather than moving, the shared cPanel hosting plans are the usual starting point for a brochure site or a small store. When one busy WooCommerce checkout starts contending for processor time against everything else on the account, that is the moment to look at dedicated CPU and RAM on a business plan instead.

  • Googlebot crawls predominantly from US addresses, so the version of your site an American request sees is largely the version Google indexes
  • Search Console no longer offers a country targeting setting, so your domain, your content, your prices and your inbound links carry that signal instead
  • Core Web Vitals are scored on field data, which for an American site means American visitors on American networks and devices
  • Server side caching, including LiteSpeed's own cache on WordPress, usually moves the largest contentful paint further than any plugin will
  • A Google Business Profile with a consistent name, address and phone number does the local work no hosting account ever will

Questions From US Buyers

US Dollar is one of the currencies ElySpace lists, so check your account is set to it before you compare anything. The figure that binds is the one on the order form, which also shows the billing cycle and the amount that recurs at renewal. Read the recurring line as carefully as the first one. If anything on the order summary does not match what you expected, stop and ask billing before you pay rather than after.

Credit and debit cards and PayPal are the routes most American customers use, and the exact gateways offered to you appear on the payment step of the cart before you confirm anything. Because ElySpace IT Services LLP is registered in India, your card issuer may classify the charge as an international one and add its own foreign transaction fee. That fee comes from your bank, not from us, so check your card terms if your finance team is strict about it.

A Form W-9 is what a US supplier files, so it is not the right document here: ElySpace IT Services LLP is an Indian firm. If your accounts payable team keeps documentation on file for foreign vendors, or needs specific details printed on every invoice, ask billing what can be supplied before you place the order. Sorting that out at the start takes one ticket. Sorting it out at year end takes several, and usually under time pressure.

You can, provided you meet the nexus requirement that the usTLD policy sets: the registrant must be a US citizen or permanent resident, an entity organized under the laws of a US state or the country itself, or a foreign organization with a genuine presence in the United States. The registry also expects accurate registrant details rather than a privacy shield. For most American businesses a .com remains the primary name, with .us registered alongside it defensively.

Ask in a pre-sales ticket before you order, and get the region your account will be provisioned in confirmed in writing. We are not going to print a data center claim on a marketing page that we cannot stand behind for every plan, because that is exactly the kind of promise buyers discover is wrong at the worst moment. Once you know the region, measure it yourself with traceroute and a synthetic test from a few US cities.

Live chat and tickets are covered around the clock, so a message sent at nine in the morning Eastern or five in the evening Pacific reaches somebody either way. The team works from India on IST, which runs five and a half hours ahead of UTC, so American afternoons are Indian nights and American nights are Indian working hours. If you want a scheduled call inside your own business day, ask for a slot in the ticket and one can be arranged.

A hosting plan is not a compliance program, and no honest host will tell you otherwise. If your application stores or transmits protected health information, a shared account is the wrong shape for it and a business associate agreement has to be in place with anybody who touches that data. Raise it in a pre-sales ticket and describe what the application does before you buy anything, so the answer arrives while you can still act on it.

Possibly, because the law follows the consumer rather than your registered office. The CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, reaches businesses that do business in California and cross one of its thresholds, such as handling the personal information of 100,000 or more California consumers or households. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Utah have their own laws with their own limits. If you sell nationally, plan for the strictest state rather than your own.

Yes, and the migration itself costs nothing. Send us the cPanel login or FTP and database details from your current provider and the team copies files, databases and mailboxes across. You check the copy on a temporary address before any DNS changes. Lower your TTL the day before so the switch propagates quickly, then pick a cutover hour when your American traffic is at its lowest, which for most sites is the small hours Eastern.

The published commitment is a 99.9% uptime SLA, and the terms that govern it, including how availability is measured, what is excluded and how a service credit is claimed, are set out in our service level agreement. Read that document rather than the number on any marketing page, ours included. An uptime figure without a written measurement method and a credit process behind it is decoration, not a commitment.

Start With a Question, Not a Checkout

Hosting is easy to buy and tedious to unpick, so the cheapest ten minutes you will spend on this decision are the ones before the card comes out. Pick whichever of these suits how you like to work.

Then the only real work is the cutover, and we do the rest. Send the login details for your current provider, let the team copy files, databases and mailboxes across, and check the result on a temporary address while your live site carries on serving customers. Nothing moves until you say so, and you pick the hour. For an American storefront that usually means the quiet stretch between two and five in the morning Eastern, which is the middle of the working day for the engineer running it.
